Where applicable under consumer law, customers may return eligible unused items within the stated return period, provided products are returned in original condition, unused and in original packaging.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method after inspection and approval.
We reserve the right to reject returns where products show signs of use, damage or misuse.
7. Custom and Personalised Products
Custom, made-to-order or personalised products (including club-branded items, personalised bags or bespoke equipment) are non-refundable unless faulty or supplied incorrectly.
Customers are responsible for ensuring all custom text, logos, sizes and specifications are correct before order confirmation.
8. Product Warranty
VENOM Hockey products are designed for sporting use and will naturally experience wear over time.
We offer a limited 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
This warranty covers genuine manufacturing defects only and does not cover:
-
normal wear and tear
-
cosmetic damage including chips, scratches, paint wear or surface cracking
-
damage caused by stick tackles, clashes with other sticks, impacts with balls, goalposts, footwear or hard surfaces
-
breakage resulting from excessive force, misuse or use outside intended sporting purpose
-
damage caused by improper storage, heat exposure or neglect
-
gradual performance deterioration through regular use
Due to the high-performance carbon construction of many VENOM sticks, breakage resulting from impact during gameplay does not automatically indicate a manufacturing defect and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Warranty claims must be submitted within 14 days of the defect first becoming apparent and must include:
-
proof of purchase
-
clear photographs of the damage
-
a description of how the damage occurred
Warranty approval remains at the sole discretion of VENOM Hockey following assessment.
9. Product Use and Safety
Field hockey is a physical sport with inherent risk.
Customers are responsible for ensuring products are used safely and appropriately, including wearing suitable protective equipment where required.
VENOM Hockey accepts no responsibility for injury, loss or damage resulting from misuse of products.
10. Intellectual Property

Terms & Conditions - the basics
Having said that, Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) are a set of legally binding terms defined by you, as the owner of this website. The T&C set forth the legal boundaries governing the activities of the website visitors, or your customers, while they visit or engage with this website. The T&C are meant to establish the legal relationship between the site visitors and you as the website owner.
T&C should be defined according to the specific needs and nature of each website. For example, a website offering products to customers in e-commerce transactions requires T&C that are different from the T&C of a website only providing information (like a blog, a landing page, and so on).
T&C provide you as the website owner the ability to protect yourself from potential legal exposure, but this may differ from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, so make sure to receive local legal advice if you are trying to protect yourself from legal exposure.
What to include in the T&C document
Generally speaking, T&C often address these types of issues: Who is allowed to use the website; the possible payment methods; a declaration that the website owner may change his or her offering in the future; the types of warranties the website owner gives his or her customers; a reference to issues of intellectual property or copyrights, where relevant; the website owner’s right to suspend or cancel a member’s account; and much, much more.
