Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated in January 2026

We at VENOM Hockey are working to make our site venomhockey.co.uk accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

How We’re Levelling Up Accessibility

At VENOM HOCKEY, we believe everyone should be able to navigate our website and get the info they need — whether you’re smashing goals on the field or checking out our latest sticks. We’re on a mission to make our website more accessible, step by step.

Our website is built on Wix, which gives us some solid accessibility foundations:

  • Navigate the site with your keyboard — menus, links, everything

  • Screen reader-friendly headings for easy scanning

  • Images with alternative text

  • Adjustable text sizes and contrast for readability

We’re constantly testing, tweaking, and improving to make sure everyone can access our content without barriers.

We follow WCAG 2.1 guidelines and aim for AA level compliance, improving the site one goal at a time. Accessibility isn’t a finish line — it’s part of our game plan.

Requests, issues, and suggestions

We’re honest — we’re still checking every corner of the site. Some features may not yet be fully accessible. If you spot anything that slows you down, glitches, or just doesn’t work, we want to hear about it.

If you find an accessibility issue on the site, or if you require further assistance, you are welcome to contact us through our accessibility coordinator:

We’ll work with you to provide alternative ways to access our content — fast, friendly, and fair.
